RupuTech Subscription Terms

Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before subscribing to any RupuTech landing page package.

Starter: RM129/month Professional: RM159/month Advanced: RM249/month

1. Scope of Service

  • RupuTech provides landing page design and setup services based on the selected package.
  • The scope follows the deliverables stated in the selected package.
  • Any additional request outside the selected package may be charged separately.

2. Package Deliverables

  • Each package includes only the listed features and services.
  • If a package says “Everything in previous package”, it includes the lower-tier deliverables.
  • Custom features, additional pages, advanced integrations, copywriting, extra forms, payment systems, booking systems, or special animations may require additional charges unless clearly stated.

3. Content & Materials

  • Client must provide all necessary content and materials before the project begins.
  • This includes logo, brand colours, text/content, images/videos, contact details, product/service information, and social media/WhatsApp links.
  • If content or images are not provided, RupuTech may use placeholder content or basic stock images where suitable.
  • Final content approval remains the client’s responsibility.

4. Timeline & Delivery

  • Estimated delivery timeline begins only after the client provides all required content, information, and deposit/payment confirmation.
  • Starter package estimated delivery timeline is 14 business days unless otherwise stated.
  • Delays in content, feedback, or approval may affect the delivery timeline.
  • Urgent delivery requests may be subject to additional charges.

5. Revisions

  • Each package includes a fixed number of revision rounds stated in the package.
  • Revision means minor changes to existing design, layout, text, image replacement, or section adjustment.
  • Major changes, new sections, full redesign, or changes different from the original approved direction may be charged separately.
  • Unused revisions cannot be exchanged for discounts, refunds, or other services.

6. Domain & Hosting

  • For packages that include domain and hosting, it is valid for the first year only unless stated otherwise.
  • After the first year, renewal fees for domain, hosting, SSL, email hosting, or third-party services will be borne by the client.
  • Domain availability depends on the domain provider.
  • If the preferred domain is unavailable, the client must provide an alternative domain name.

7. Third-Party Tools & Integrations

  • Some features may depend on third-party tools such as WhatsApp, Google Forms, Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, Stripe, payment gateways, domain providers, or hosting providers.
  • RupuTech is not responsible for service disruptions, pricing changes, account restrictions, technical errors, or policy changes caused by third-party platforms.
  • Third-party subscription fees, transaction fees, plugin fees, or platform fees are not included unless clearly stated.

8. Deposit & Monthly Subscription Payment

  • A non-refundable RM50 deposit is required to confirm the client’s subscription and secure the project slot.
  • This RM50 deposit will be deducted from the client’s first month subscription payment.
  • Example: If the selected package is RM159/month, the first month payment will be RM159 - RM50 = RM99.
  • From the second month onwards, the client will be charged the full monthly subscription fee according to the selected package.
  • The monthly subscription period shall officially commence on the date the landing page is live-hosted and accessible online, not from the initial deposit payment date.
  • Monthly subscription fee must be paid according to the agreed billing date.
  • RupuTech reserves the right to pause work, support, maintenance, or website access if payment is overdue.

9. Cancellation & Deposit Policy

  • All deposits paid are strictly non-refundable, even if the client decides to cancel, withdraw, postpone, or not proceed with the project.
  • Once the project has started, any payment made is non-refundable.
  • If the client cancels after work has begun, planning, design, setup, development, consultation, or time spent will be considered chargeable.
  • Delays caused by late content submission, slow feedback, change of direction, or lack of response from the client are not valid reasons for refund.

10. Client Approval

  • Before the landing page goes live, the client will be given a chance to review and approve the final version.
  • Once the client approves the final version, further changes after launch may be treated as additional work unless covered under support and maintenance.

11. Technical Support & Maintenance

  • RupuTech will provide technical support and maintenance throughout the active subscription period, as long as monthly payment remains active and up to date.
  • This includes basic technical support, minor troubleshooting, website uptime checking, basic bug fixing, and minor content updates.
  • Minor content changes include text updates, image replacement, contact detail updates, button link updates, and minor section content adjustments.
  • Major revisions are not included and will be charged separately.
  • Major revisions include full design revamp, new page design, new section structure, major layout changes, new system or feature integration, payment gateway changes, booking system setup, advanced animation changes, or rebuilding the landing page based on a new direction.
  • RupuTech reserves the right to determine whether a request is a minor change or major revision based on complexity and time required.

12. Ownership, Access & Subscription Commitment

  • The landing page is provided under a monthly subscription model.
  • The client must remain subscribed for a minimum period of 12 months before full ownership of the final landing page can be transferred.
  • After completing the 12-month subscription period, the final landing page will belong to the client.
  • If the client unsubscribes after 12 months, RupuTech will provide the final working website files to the client.
  • Domain transfer may commence to the client’s preferred hosting account or domain provider.
  • Any domain transfer fee, hosting migration fee, third-party platform fee, or related technical fee shall be borne by the client.
  • RupuTech may provide reasonable assistance during transfer, but additional technical work, setup, migration, troubleshooting, or third-party configuration may be charged separately.

13. Early Withdrawal Before 12 Months

  • If the client cancels, withdraws, or stops subscribing before completing the minimum 12-month subscription period, RupuTech will remain the owner of the landing page, including design, layout, structure, source files, working files, and development files.
  • RupuTech reserves the right to suspend, withdraw, or unhost the landing page.
  • If the client wishes to release or transfer the domain before completing 12 months, a flat RM600 domain release fee will be charged.
  • The RM600 domain release fee only covers the release or transfer of the domain. It does not include final landing page files, source files, working files, design files, or development files.
  • If the client wishes to obtain the final landing page files before completing the 12-month period, a flat RM1,000 final file release fee will be charged.
  • Upon full payment of the RM1,000 final file release fee, RupuTech will release the final working files of the landing page to the client.
  • Until the relevant release fee is fully paid, all landing page files, source files, design files, development files, and related working materials remain the property of RupuTech.

14. Late Payment, Suspension & Termination

  • Monthly subscription payments must be made on or before the agreed billing date.
  • If payment is overdue, RupuTech reserves the right to temporarily suspend technical support, maintenance, website updates, or website access until payment has been made.
  • If payment remains unpaid for more than 14 days, RupuTech reserves the right to suspend or unhost the landing page without further notice.
  • If the client wishes to reactivate the landing page after suspension, outstanding payment, reactivation fee, hosting fee, or technical setup fee must be settled before reactivation.
  • RupuTech shall not be responsible for business loss, enquiry loss, sales loss, advertising loss, or technical issue caused by late payment, suspension, or termination due to non-payment.

15. Website Maintenance Limitation

  • The subscription includes technical support and basic maintenance only during the active subscription period.
  • It does not include major redesign, new strategy work, advertising setup, advanced SEO campaign, or ongoing marketing services unless separately agreed.

16. Personal Data Protection & Privacy

RupuTech may collect, store, and process the client’s personal and business information for the purpose of providing landing page design, hosting, domain registration, maintenance, support, billing, communication, and related services.

The information collected may include, but is not limited to:

  • Name
  • Company name
  • Contact number
  • Email address
  • Business address
  • Domain details
  • Website content
  • Business information
  • Payment or billing-related information
  • Login/access details required for project setup

RupuTech will take reasonable steps to protect the client’s personal data and will only use the information for purposes related to the service provided.

RupuTech will not sell, rent, or disclose the client’s personal data to unrelated third parties, except where necessary for service delivery, legal compliance, billing, domain registration, hosting setup, payment processing, website integrations, or where required by law.

The client acknowledges that certain personal or business information may need to be shared with third-party service providers, such as hosting providers, domain registrars, payment gateways, analytics platforms, email services, or other technical vendors, strictly for the purpose of completing the requested service.

Clients are responsible for ensuring that any personal data they provide to RupuTech, including customer data, enquiry form data, employee data, or third-party information, has been collected and shared with proper consent where required.

RupuTech will retain client information only for as long as necessary to provide the service, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce the Terms & Conditions.

The client may request to access, update, correct, or delete their personal data by contacting RupuTech in writing, subject to applicable legal, contractual, technical, and record-keeping requirements.

By confirming the deposit payment or using RupuTech’s services, the client acknowledges and agrees that their personal data may be collected, processed, and used in accordance with this clause and the applicable Personal Data Protection Act requirements.

17. Limitation of Liability

  • RupuTech will make reasonable efforts to deliver a functional and professional landing page.
  • RupuTech does not guarantee specific business results, sales, leads, enquiries, conversions, Google ranking, ad performance, or revenue.
  • The client is responsible for reviewing all information, claims, pricing, legal wording, and business details before publishing.

18. Portfolio Rights

  • RupuTech reserves the right to showcase completed projects in its portfolio, website, social media, or marketing materials unless the client requests otherwise in writing.

19. Changes to Terms

  • RupuTech reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
  • The applicable Terms & Conditions will be based on the version provided or agreed upon at the time of purchase.
